Digg.com v3
The third version of Digg launched today and was welcomed by this article from John Dvorak.
My take? Digg is a brilliant implementation of social thinking with a simple pitfall: A total lack of human moderation. Social tools like Digg are wonderful at bubbling consumable content to the top (in this case the homepage), but when the masses feel as though no one is there to care for or lead them, bad things can and usually will happen.
Solution? Ignore the comments and simply pay attention to the dugg links.
